Fruit forward on the nose with red fruits and light oak.

Medium bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing red cherries, raspberries, herbs, coffee, light oak, chocolates and peppercorn.

Nice finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 7 year old Barolo is already drinking very nicely, but still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly.

Spicy and entertaining. Easy drinking and engaging. Elegant with good structure.

Nicely balanced and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.

100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in large oak barrels for 3 years.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

The nose shows; poached strawberries, cooked cherries, some blackberries, just a hint of bubble gum, some sandy, wet, black earth, red & pink roses.

The palate is ripe and juicy & light bodied. Black cherries, strawberries raspberries, pomegranate, some blackberries & black raspberries, hints of blood orange, loamy sandy, limestone, dark spice with a touch heat, hints of licorice & cola, very fine, dry, soft tannins, red and pink roses, red flowers, beautiful acidity and a pleasant, elegant, easy finish that lasts a full minute. — 3 months ago

Headline: “damn near perfect” not dry, not bitter, not sweet, not watery, just lovely balance all around. If you’re looking for a defining characteristic it’s that there is none. Some would say the greatest designs goes unnoticed. I would also say that the greatest wines should lay in a similar vein. There is no one flavor or characteristic about it that is overpowering the rest. — 4 months ago
