White burg perfection. Captivatingly complex aromatics with Coche fireworks on full display, layered with popcorn, citrus oils and white flowers. What texture on the palate. A turning point vintage for the Domaine. I don’t think anyone faired better. 2013 Perrieres while still young, is in an amazing spot, showing both richness and energy wafting spiced ripe yellow fruit, pastry cream and white flowers layered in stony minerality. The palate is full and expansive with fabulous density, focus, balanced acids and a long finish. Pop and pour. A splendid medium straw color. On the nose: asian pear, crisp apples, lemon rind, almonds, floral. Taste: chalky, oily, vibrant wine with lemon zest, white peach, saline, slate, and a mineral lime peel long finish. YUM! Nice compelling wine at 19 years. — 7 days ago

This was an exciting bottle with citrus on the nose. Orange peel, pear, roasted bread and citrus on the palate. Good concentration and acidity. Seamless integration. Still more to come with additional cellar time. — a month ago

Medium lemon colour . Quite rich with lemon rind , honied notes , buttered popcorn and orange flowers. On the palate much more strict and linear , with ripe apricot , lemon rind , orange , lovely intensity and balanced acidity . After a while more mineral and linear , intense acidity . This is drinking well with time in the glass , but will continue to improve over the next 5 years or so and continue well a further 5 . — 14 days ago
