Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

It’s been a year and half since my last bottle. This wine just speaks to me, always has. Blueberry compote nose. Blueberry pie, blackberry, ripe fruit, fantastic mouthfeel. So easy. So glad I bought a case and a half years ago, wish I had got more. Perhaps drinking better now than ever. Wish they still made this cuvée. — 5 months ago

So killer. Not quite as mind blowing as the Comptche. Still phenom. — a day ago

Wallufer Walkenberg Spätlese trocken Riesling 2019

Deep straw in the glass. Nose is buzzing with electric orchard fruit and honeycomb. Ripe citrus, golden apple, and faint tropics on the palate. White tea and honey. Super dry at 13%. Killer. — a month ago

Steel Plow Vineyard Grenache 2013

The initial taste was candied but quickly turned to tart red fruit The earthy element and light body reminded me of a Pinot. Not a Burg 🤔 — 3 months ago

Wallufer Berg Bildstock trocken Riesling 2022

My experience w Becker Riesling is they demand patience, air, & time. As a ‘22 & the lower end of the price spectrum ( for Becker- abt 23$) , this bottling felt as closed as a clam but peeking through were dry notes of salt taffy, hearts of palm, white pith fruits, & a saline nature to the whole affair. Decant the hell out of it or revisit in 3-4 years. — 3 months ago
