Dry farmed! Color of blood. Or a bruised plum. Smells like Spanish red. Wood shavings. Berry-cherry pies. Menthol. Flavors are dense and on point. Plenty of woodsy stuff in the mouth too. Just a little fennel. Black cherries. Tannins are tongue drying and pleasant. Hint of licking a sharpened pencil tip perhaps. This is classic Rioja with all the trimmings. — a month ago

Wine is incredibly dark and brooding. Very dense and heavy taste and texture right out of the bottle.

Drank over about 3 hours. Oxygen was this wines friend and the wine opened up quite a bit to reveal more bright and red fruit to complement the black fruit and density which also gave way as it breathed.

Not a blockbuster from a complexity perspective and lacked the punch of something special. But a solid oakville cab nonetheless and not too oaky. — 2 months ago

Citrus, super grapefruit, white flowers, and so much slate. Superb palate, concentrated, rocky and huge acids and energy and such chewy citrus. Kerosene on the nose and awesome confectionary inner mouth aromas. — 4 months ago
