Easy drinking red, nice taste with no acidity. — 9 months ago
Great! Still tastes very young. — a year ago
This says Reserva.
I didn’t know.
But… that’s some Spanish old vine Tempranillo w French barrique aging(24 mo.) hell, you could have left it in there another 24.
N: Really smells like dirt and tobacco. Black plums way back there. A Big, black nose of reined in funk.
P: Tannin city, charcoal, prunes, really begs for protein, skillfully done.
Next time, 2hrs in a decanter.

Very light, very good — 2 months ago
Primarily Tempranillo with a bit of Graciano blended in. Dark red/violet color. Aromas of currants, leather, rose petal and sweet baking spices. Red and black berry fruit on the palate with additional flavors of chocolate, vanilla, dried dill and coffee. Really soft tannins and texture. A bit of a bitter, spicy and oaky finish. Reasonable and a good value. — 7 months ago
Even with 9 years of bottle age there’s still a lot of youth in this #rioja #riserva 100% #graciano. Purple/red fruit on the nose, a touch reticent. Active on the palate with lively acidity and tannins continue to build with each sip. So youthful I’m eager to try the 2001 vintage of from this producer that I bought recently. — 2 years ago

Dark ruby in color with wide brick rim.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing red currants, cherries, earth, black coffee, licorice, oak, black tea, tobacco leaf, herbs and light black pepper.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 63 year old Tempranillo from Rioja is still drinking nicely, although obviously not at its peak.
Soft and elegant with a nice mouthfeel. Nicely balanced and elegant. Tangy and interesting.
Still has enough fruits in it to last another 10 years. Not showing as much complexity as I expected, but it's always nice to try these kind of old wines.
I enjoyed it very much, all by itself.
A blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha. Aged in French oak barrels for 3 years. Recorcked by the winery a few years ago. Only 400 bottles made.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Dark fruits, soft oak framing, nice depth and complexity, good balance, barely seems 10 years old, lovely Rioja. — a month ago
