Great flavor, would be great with a steak — 2 months ago
At 10 years old, this was the smoothest Rioja I have tasted. Mild bouquet with dark ruby color. Just wonderful to sip. Accompanied a brisket meal and was a perfect pairing. Drank in November 2024. — 7 months ago
Easy drinking red, nice taste with no acidity. — a year ago
Got this at a great price to use for mimosas. Excellent choice. 11.5% ABV — 20 days ago
When smelled initially, the wine has a slightly fruity smell with notes of blackberry. The wine is moderately sweet and his a little acidic. After tasting, the wine has medium to full body with strong notes of leather, and blackberry. It also has subtile umami flavor. After savoring for a bit, a little spiciness like allspice or cloves is detected. Overall this was a well balanced wine and I would definitely purchase again. — 5 months ago

Dark ruby in color with wide brick rim.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing red currants, cherries, earth, black coffee, licorice, oak, black tea, tobacco leaf, herbs and light black pepper.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 63 year old Tempranillo from Rioja is still drinking nicely, although obviously not at its peak.
Soft and elegant with a nice mouthfeel. Nicely balanced and elegant. Tangy and interesting.
Still has enough fruits in it to last another 10 years. Not showing as much complexity as I expected, but it's always nice to try these kind of old wines.
I enjoyed it very much, all by itself.
A blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha. Aged in French oak barrels for 3 years. Recorcked by the winery a few years ago. Only 400 bottles made.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.
