Exceptional blend. Mostly Syrah but the Grenache shines. Bold red with great depth. Lovely floral nose of violets and berries. Big winner tonight. — 3 days ago

Drouhin Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir 2022

Dark garnet color. Complex aromas of lavender, violets, rose petals, red cherries and cinnamon. Red, blue and black berry fruit flavors with touches of baking spices, orange zest and fresh basil. Beautiful earthy note on the long finish. Medium bodied with soft tannins tannins and nicely balanced acidity. Delicate but bold at the same time. Excellent! — a month ago

Chimney Rock

Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

2021 vintage. Definitely has that frontal palate sweetness/richness in the upper gums when tasting. Decent tannins afoot. Not the QPR leader in this price range or region but you could do a lot worse. Verry solid effort. 10.09.24. — a month ago

The Boxer Shiraz 2022

Deep, dark Ruby with a big fruity nose and lots of ripe berries with oaky notes. Jammy big and bold blackberry flavors with some spice, cacao, cedar and leather notes with nice mouthfeel. Big fine tannins with berry fruit carried over to the finish with oak and sweet spice. Nice! — 9 days ago

Elevage Stags Leap District Merlot Blend 2019

Blend of about 39% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Petit Verdot with the rest Cabernet Franc, aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak, deep Ruby, purple edges with aromas of dark red fruits, oak and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, plum and currants with cacao and herb spice. Full dusty tannins, opens nicely, long finish ending with fruit, oak, vanilla spice and mineral character. Nice! Drinking well now, will still age. — 5 months ago
