Krug

Grande Cuvée Brut Champagne Blend

Magnum of 168. Absolutely love Krug and it has become my favourite Champagne. Fresh yet complex...so much to enjoy! — a day ago

Château Cos d'Estournel

Saint-Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend 1986

A plush, meaty open nose. Dark plum and underbrush. Some iodine and a serious, brooding midpalate. Great balance and poise, and settled. Fantastic — a day ago

Château Pichon-Longueville Baron

Baron de Pichon-Longueville Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2000

Two hour decant this 2000 Pichon Baron is exceptional! Very smooth glycerin like coating covering black and red cherries, leather, tobacco, olives and smoke simply outstanding. The finish could be a bit better though — 11 days ago

Château Latour

Premier Grand Cru Classé Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 1995

Age 30 has 1995 Latour is in an amazing place, finally, fully open and giving wafting unmistakable Pauillac perfume, integrated and seamless and liquid velvet in the mouth with melting tannins and an explosively long finale. My fav first growth 💯 — 9 days ago

Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 1966

My first experience with a bdx with this type of age. It had a note of green pepper on the nose and had a lot of life left. — 4 days ago

Domaine Tempier

Bandol Rosé Blend 2023

Can count on this every year. Strawberry, herbs, nice medium acid on the finish. Even the people that don’t like rosé enjoyed this one. — 8 days ago

Château Margaux

Premier Grand Cru Classé Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend 2005

1.5 hour decant(decent chunky/fine sediment). A remarkable purplish magenta color. On the nose: very aeromatic notes of black & red berries, truffles, loamy soil, worn leather, tobacco leaf, floral, herbaceous. Taste: soft, elegant, balanced, layered mouthfeel wine with blackberry, dark plum, leather, crushed granite, dried herbs, and a spiced cedar long finish with some dusty tannins. YUM! At the start of its drinking window with 20-30 years to go, so no rush. — 8 days ago

Direct from the winery. Pristine and exquisite. So well behaved on the nose and palate. Intense fruit cake and blueberry pie. So much weight, yer balanced. Tannins have softened but still prominent. Stellar presentation overall.
Happy birthday, Drew!
