Not sure it improves but def holds steady as a big step above a daily drinker but not as engaging as a decent, classified growth. Medium garnet , ruby core , medium wide garnet rim . Touch of wood spice at first then , dark plum and blackberry, grilled meat . On the palate good density of dark fruits, with a slightly gritty grafite , oyster shell note, spice and cocoa. Slightly dry tannin and balanced acidity . Finishes slightly short , a little chalky also . Overall well made but just misses the extra complexity and density of a better vintage . This is in its drinking window , now and over the next 5-8 years . — 24 days ago

First sip was incredibly smooth. Gave Chelsey the remaining wine from the bottle after decanting and she said it tasted like it'd be good on ice cream.

2018 vintage. Last tasted 2.18.22. This is the (regrettably) last bottle. Honed and focused. Some (there wasn’t an overt amount to begin with) baby fat dropped. Transitioning to earth and minerals and, in doing so, adding depth. Medium body. Will be on the search for more. 6.11.24. — 21 days ago

An oldie left from Gordon’s and the little Bordeaux is drinking so nicely, even on day three in Eto and the earthiness of day one is not as prominent but the ripe fruit mineral nose and balance and complex palate the same. Deal! Last one! — 4 months ago
