Just love this wine! Nice blend of grapes from the Bierzo Valley, biodynamic. Deep Ruby with loads of Berry fruits aromas adding some sweet floral spice and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry, and strawberry with a juicy mineral edge. Well balanced and integrated with fine chalky tannins, lively acidity and a long finish ending with fruit and spicy notes. Tremendous value for such a complex wine. — a month ago
Blackberry, earthy, bitterness of dark chocolate or coffee perhaps. Beautiful long finish. Would age quite nicely. 2021 vintage. — 10 days ago
Tasty but pricey ($35, on sale for $30). Nose is dark fruit, black cherry, Raisin. Lots of cocoa, tobacco, and leather. Full bodied, very tannic, dry with slight balancing acidity to keep it drinkable. Great with food and pleasant on its own if you like beefy oaky wine. — 5 days ago
A favorite from Spain, the Ribera del Duero is a wonderful blend that gets the green light for approachability and high score for its depth and silkiness . Wow. Great balance and wonderful with a taste that touches the buds on the back of my tongue. — 2 days ago

Did not know Vega Sicilia made a Toro! This is brooding and dark but unexpectedly lithe and refreshing too. The iron, tar and stone are shot through with fresh berries and mocha. Would be excellent with any smoked, spice rubbed meat — 6 days ago
