1982 centennial edition bottle. Excellent wine. Didn’t snap a photo of bottle unfortunately — 5 years ago

I tried this vintage 4 years ago. It is still tart and dry with lively fruit and high acid. The nose exhibits cranberry, almond, American oak (coconut), and cinnamon. The palate reveals cranberry, oak, cedar, aniseed, leather, tart strawberry, and tart cherry. Medium plus tannins, medium plus alcohol, and excellent zippy (high) acid. — 3 years ago
A great drop, nothing like I have tried before but is a lighter but full of depth and flavour — 5 years ago
Red cherry and cranberry violets spice. Plenty of acid and soft tannins. First taste I've had. — 8 months ago
Raspberry, cherry and sweet grass. Light and airy. Drank chilled on ice with a lovely dinner at Hotel Centennial and was extremely sessionable. — 2 years ago
We've been sitting on this bottle for 7-8 years and it didn't disappoint. We first had this in 2011 and remained a favorite of ours to this day. This one is just as good as that first one. Classic left bank all day. Earthy, graphite, cedar and leather. Cassis, blackberry and absolutely perfect acidity. At 13+ years, it is showing some bottle age but it is holding up well. I wish I had more of this because it is fantastic. — 5 years ago
