Second taste from Coravin is much better than the first. Once it opens, Layers of very ripe and concentrated red fruit, both luscious, almost sweet, yet restrained by the acidity. In the background, iron-like core, layered silky tannins, and pronounced lingering minerality.  pretty much flawless in its style.  — 2 years ago

First pour. I agree with Wine Enthusiast -black plums and black cherries, gently spiced with oak notes of cinnamon, clove and ginger. An ultrasmooth texture comes from fine-grained tannins! — 2 years ago

What a value. Sort of a medium across the board Bordeaux. Vegetal nose. Nice and round on the palate. Drying tannins. Stands great with this sausage and peppers. I could drink this every night at $30. Bravo.
