Château Labory De Tayac

Le Charme Labory

Saint Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend 1995

Classic aged #stestephe - probably fair to say this second wine was well into a gentle decline at this age. Dried cherry, fruit, marzipan notes, touch of bricking on the rim. Palate suggested acidity was fading, faint impression of tannins left; an interesting if not thrilling aged #bordeaux. — a month ago

Château Labory de Tayac

Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend 1999

Nothing but secondary and tertiary notes on the nose. Hoisin sauce, shoe leather, luxardo cherry reduction. On the palate, light and fresh. Lots going on. Still some tannins on the back end. A treat. — 3 years ago

Love this Margaux! Dark purple with dark cherries, blackberries and tobacco coming forward. Tannins and acidity are well balanced in this mature wine — 11 days ago

Château Cos Labory

St. Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend 2012

Took about 1.5 hours to decant, but what a beautiful wine. Incredibly supple Left Bank, smooth but grippy tannins, really nice mouthfeel. Long body. Leathery and peppery dark fruit notes in the body with bright acidity up front. — 4 months ago

Château Andron Blanquet

Cru Bourgeois St. Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend 2014

Blend of 60% Cab Sauvignon, 35% Merlot & 5% Cab Franc, 33% new oak aged, owned by the same family as Cos Labory. Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe black fruits, spice and cedar. On the palate juicy blackberry and plum with notes of cacao and cedar. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, cedar and earthy notes. Good value. — 3 years ago

Château Tayac

Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

The wine poured a beautiful dark Brick/blood red. We decanted it and let it breathe for about 45 minutes first. It has wonderful flavors of earth, graphite, dried fruit. This is another example I think of buying a lower cost wine from a great vintage and putting it up. It certainly could’ve Aged longer. But it went perfectly with our prime stakes dinner at Hanna with our friends the Swanson‘s and the Bailey‘s. #bordeaux #leftbankbordeaux #margauxwine — 4 months ago
