Blend of 60% Cab Sauvignon, 35% Merlot & 5% Cab Franc, 33% new oak aged, owned by the same family as Cos Labory. Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe black fruits, spice and cedar. On the palate juicy blackberry and plum with notes of cacao and cedar. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, cedar and earthy notes. Good value. — 3 years ago
Very enjoyable wine. I had this post dinner; I imagine it would be much more enjoyable with a red meat protein (cooked medium rare) or maybe a red pasta. Nice balanced fruit in nose and taste; after taste consistent with a Bordeaux — 5 years ago
Took about 1.5 hours to decant, but what a beautiful wine. Incredibly supple Left Bank, smooth but grippy tannins, really nice mouthfeel. Long body. Leathery and peppery dark fruit notes in the body with bright acidity up front. — a month ago
Nothing but secondary and tertiary notes on the nose. Hoisin sauce, shoe leather, luxardo cherry reduction. On the palate, light and fresh. Lots going on. Still some tannins on the back end. A treat. — 2 years ago
Very good Fronsac. Fully developed silky tannins, secondary aromas of blue flowers and berries. On the palate , the wine slides down smoothly and persistent. — 4 years ago

I am slightly biased towards merlot dominant Bordeaux blends but damn. I love the flavour profile. This is drinking very well, from a good vintage. — 6 years ago

The wine poured a beautiful dark Brick/blood red. We do candidate and let it breathe for about 45 minutes first. It has wonderful flavors of earth, graphite, dried fruit. This is another example I think of buying a lower cost wine from a great vintage and putting it up. It certainly could’ve Aged longer. But it went perfectly with our prime stakes dinner at Hanna with our friends the Swanson‘s and the Bailey‘s. #bordeaux #leftbankbordeaux #margauxwine — 15 days ago
