Better than when i tried the wine earlier. So it did need 10 year. Still the 10’ continues to be more or less a dud across the board. With few exceptions. This wine is at the end of his life. Tannins well resolved although plenty left, hint cherry 🍒 . Orange juice. — 6 months ago
Beautiful color. Burn copper around the rim. Nose of pomegranate, tart red cherry, dusty minerals, dry dirt, old cellar. Dusty tannins dry out the mouth quickly. Really delicate and quickly fading acidity. Palate has the dusty minerals, sand, tart red fruit, tree bark. The tannins tell me wait another 1-2 years, but the acidity says drink. The drying tannins hide the palate a bit. — a month ago
Lestage 2010, a bit of aging on it. Nicely integrated now. Tar, cedar and black currant on the nose. A nice meat juice and truffle note is lurking in the back. The palate is not the broadest or the most impressive but shines with its acid drive, its nice peppery notes, its bright black currant touch and its polished tannins that are now well integrated. There is a nice bitter note blossoming over a finish that sports some black currant and peppery touches. It's a good wine and it has still some time ahead, it's still has a young wine profile. We paired with duck confit and cooked apple, a great pairing. — 6 months ago
Nice but not quite at the level I was hoping. Maybe a bit past its prime? Quite a deep yellow in the glass. Lots of body. Has a bit of a pronounced lanolin quality. Would not have guessed Chablis, doesn’t have the acid or cut. Was hoping it would come together more on day 2 but never quite got to where I was hoping. — 3 months ago
Very minerally...slightly musty but not in a bad way. Strong showing — 6 months ago

When well chilled the minerality shines and as the wine warms one get more citrus fruitiness. Pleasantly quaffable wine. — 20 days ago
