wonderful mature rhône regional wine. — 3 months ago
Crisp and mineral with citrus, green apple and white flower. Bright acidity and a long, clean finish. Had at Dunbar House with a local organic greens salad with fresh blueberries, goat cheese, and toasted sunflower hearts. — 6 days ago

I was unaware of this cuvée. This is only the 10th time it’s been released since its inauguration in 1982. Lots going on. Upon pouring, the bubbles disappeared quickly. A powerful nose of strawberry, cherries and florals yet I do not feel this was fully open.
In the mouth citrus like acidity. Builds in the mouth but in a restrained way. Very vinous. Creamy texture with layers of red fruit, toast and spice vacationing in your mouth. Deceptively elegant texture . — 5 months ago
dfp ~$35/bottle , loved! a little floral — 8 months ago
Jasmine, quince paste, spiced pear, lemon curd, pineapple sweetness, punchy. Touch of lemon pith at end, but tons of juicy acid. Creamy / lactic. Chalky minerals. Layered, delicious, weighty.

2023 vintage. FLB jetsam. Decanted and tasted after 30 minutes and 1 hour. Medium/medium-heavy body. Dark color. Round impressions. Pleasant berry escapades on the back end with spritzes of rhubarb. This was waay too young and could definitely use 2-3 years to dump the baby fat and reapply. Nicely made. Just needs more time to reveal all the wonders within. 6.26.26. — 2 months ago
Barrel sample. Denser than usual. Big mama Volnay. Chewy, dense, and loaded with unreal fruit. This has more body and push than I expected, but the village perfume is still there. Hedonistic Volnay with shoulders. — 2 months ago

Mild fizz and big notes of dark fruit. Blackberries, figs, and some light tannins. Definitely a more serious wine than what Meinklang typically churns out. Tasty. — 6 years ago
"Odedi"
Pale lemon in color.
Nice on the nose, and medium in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing citrus, green apples, light spices, yeast, light brioche, minerals and sea salt.
Long finish with limes and almonds.
This 14 year old Champagne is starting to drink nicely now. Rich and nicely balanced. Tangy and spicy.
Still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
I've had a few vintages of this Champagne, and this one seems less approachable at the moment.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food, like fresh seafood.
A blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir. Aged for 7 years on the lees.
12% alcohol by volume.
91 points.
