2023 vintage. FLB jetsam. Decanted and tasted after 30 minutes and 1 hour. Medium/medium-heavy body. Dark color. Round impressions. Pleasant berry escapades on the back end with spritzes of rhubarb. This was waay too young and could definitely use 2-3 years to dump the baby fat and reapply. Nicely made. Just needs more time to reveal all the wonders within. 6.26.26. — 4 days ago

I was unaware of this cuvée. This is only the 10th time it’s been released since its inauguration in 1982. Lots going on. Upon pouring, the bubbles disappeared quickly. A powerful nose of strawberry, cherries and florals yet I do not feel this was fully open.
In the mouth citrus like acidity. Builds in the mouth but in a restrained way. Very vinous. Creamy texture with layers of red fruit, toast and spice vacationing in your mouth. Deceptively elegant texture . — 4 months ago
