Been over a year and this wine is singing. Nose is so expressive with granite, camphor, herbs, meat, olives, blackberries and smoke. So complex and expressive. Palate is energetic and rich but so supple and juicy with tons of blackberry and darker red fruits. Superbly long finish that just builds and builds. Unreal freshness and suave texture. Dark, glass-clinging purple with opaque black core. Abundant, blue-fruity nose. Echoed on the lush, full palate which adds red apple peel, blackberry, and bitter black plum. Medium acidity. Velvety medium tannins. Very nice, everyday St. Emilion. Food is, of course, naturally its friend. Drink now through 2030. — 5 months ago
