La Crau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc Clairette Blend 2021

Interestingly, this was the best-conditioned white of the night. Of course it had to be one I’m not particularly fond of, but I’m still very thankful that there wasn’t even a hint of discernible [premature] oxidation. The nose hits you with a melange of fruits ranging from pineapples to mangoes to peaches and candied orange peels, followed by notes of cream, honey, and some woody, floral nuances. On the palate, it was expectedly rich and rounded, yet still maintained some juicy energy. Finished lightly bitter with a herbaceous touch. An archetypal CDP blanc! Would be better with the right food. — 10 days ago

Some tangy orange notes and a complex yet fresh palate. Oily with white flowers, white pepper, lime and stone in the finish. Very good — 2 months ago

Réservé Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc Clairette Grenache Blanc 2005

Salty elegance. Iper focused and lean, then punches your emotions out of the palate.
It keeps changing moving from orange and apricot to a beautiful mint and white pepper. Awesome!

Cassis Clairette Blend 2021

Bright and fresh, good minerality. Honeydew, lime and salty air on the nose. Oily texture on the palate, with moderate acidity and fresh stone fruit character. Really nice! — 19 days ago

Château de Montfaucon

Comtesse Madeleine de Montfaucon Côtes du Rhône Clairette 2017

Lots of mineral notes, viscous on the palate with just a touch of aged bottle sweetness, excellent intensity, seems to have just reached its plateau of maturity, lovely!! — 3 months ago
