Reds age but great — a month ago
Still delicious and has changed less with age than I expected. Not sure if I should have sat on it longer. It has gotten nuttier with hazelnut becoming more prominent. Still a lot of oak and lemon, with a touch of flint and brioche. It’s — a month ago

From 375 ml bottle...good things can come in small packages.
Double decant and pour. A still dark purplish garnet color with some bricking(decent chunky/fine sediment). On the nose: subtle brooding notes of dark fruit, currants, wet forest floor, worn leather, smokey grilled meat. Taste: creamy, elegant, balanced, savory wine with some dark cherry, earth, dark chocolate, cedar, tobacco, and a cocoa dried herb medium plus finish. YUM! — a month ago
An excellent wine for a thanksgiving feast! — 2 months ago
Medium ruby pink rim, quite thin rim. More dense and darker on the nose than the Chapelle . Dark plum , blackberry , dark cherry , touch of spice again , quite dense , with a touch of spice on the medium length finish . Lacks the elegance of the Chapelle , a bit more tannic and bigger boned , less fresh perhaps , but a touch more mineral also . Needs more time , another 3-5 years and will show well for a further 5 -8. Again successful but the La Chapelle just comes out in front , though this will be longer lived . — a month ago

S.S. Mandani
Tropical aromatics, slightly buttery, perfumed jasmine.
Grapey, sunshine, minerals, California breeze. Nice chalky chew.
Papaya and melon fruits combine with minerality and a soft acidity that produces a super well balanced Chablis like Chardonnay that still holds on to its grippy California terroir — 14 days ago
