A quick CV tasting with Margaret L on her return trip stopover. Nicely balanced and lithe with long finish and the Nebbiolo flavors of earthiness and liveliness. — 3 months ago
!00% Nerello Mascalese, Single Contrada from a favorite Sicilian Producer. This isn’t the typical lighter, easy drinking Nerello. This has body, weight and complexity. Darker fruit: black cherry, blackberry, raspberry, smoke, with tannins and acidity. Definitely capable of aging but I have a hard time time not drinking them! — 2 months ago
Light bodied, dry and semi-sweet, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Paired well with an eggplant parmesan dinner as it balanced out the sweetness of the red sauce. — 3 months ago
Nice blend of tannins, fruit, spice for a meal spanning seafood and meat. Would have again. — a month ago
Dark cherry, earth, and pepper aromas. Smooth as silk with a nice long finish. Always loved their Moscato di Asti and now know they do an excellent Barbaresco! — a month ago
v10. Lucky me, I don’t know why I still have a v10, but it is fantastic. I will take a chance and call it “ at peak”. Cork came out clean. Solid purple color. Soft, pleasing bacon nose. Bright cherry, and dark black cherry fruit medley. Smooth, slightly tart, but round, zippy, mocha finish. Nicely balanced. Would not share ! — 2 months ago
Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of bramble berries, purple flowers and fresh herbs. Red raspberry, red currant and red cherry flavors dominate the palate with a hint of blueberry, roasted nuts and wet soil. Nice savory finish. Very little tannin and a nice amount of acidity. — 3 months ago

This Etna Rosso is made with 100% Nerello Mascalese (a local variety) that offers a beautiful ruby hue and ripe black cherry, strawberry, pomegranate notes, rose water, licorice, anise, clove, crushed gravel, and earthiness. It’s vibrant and ripe.
It vinified in stainless steel and matured in both neutral oak (for 12 mos) and stainless steel (for another 10 months), lending texture and delicate spice notes. — 4 days ago
