This is clearly more evolved than the 1999 Beaucastel CdP, but with that said, it’s still a terrific 25-year-old Côtes du Rhône, nice balance, medium-long finish, definitely mature, time to drink up! — 3 months ago
Wow, this wine gained so much, and still just entering it’s drinking window. Plenty of ripe red fruits, integrated acidity dried herbs, freshness and velvety tannins. An umami experience. Well done. — a month ago
Saline, floral, iodine aromas and flavors, very savory with some nice redfruits, longish finish, lovely acidity and freshness, excellent Syrah!! — 2 months ago
@Tom Casagrande, the early Texier wines always had “bracing” acidity (which I happen to love, but I acquired some of these earlier vintages cheap because others who preferred less acidity were dumping their purchases). I believe that’s why these early Brezemes have lasted so easily and so long.
Rich and ripe red cherry aromas and flavors, firm yet ripe tannic structure, very nice length, this has improved — a lot — since my last bottle, medium-long finish, very fine Lirac!! — 3 months ago
