Impressed it was so good after so long!
@Tom Casagrande, the early Texier wines always had “bracing” acidity (which I happen to love, but I acquired some of these earlier vintages cheap because others who preferred less acidity were dumping their purchases). I believe that’s why these early Brezemes have lasted so easily and so long.

Very dark purplish rubi robe, nose of dark cherries, sweet spices and blackcurrant. Medium bodied, rich but light on its feet after 2 hours decanting. This is top notch stuff and highly recommended. — 2 months ago
