I liked. Not dry, smooth. I enjoyed with Sis and Aunt Marilyn — 7 months ago
Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose with cherries, raspberries, light wood, vegetables, barnyard, tobacco leaf, eucalyptus, spices and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with cherries, plums, currants, licorice, spices, cedar, chocolates, tobacco, herbs and black pepper.
Nice finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a tasty and interesting Sangiovese from Napa valley. Feels like a light super Tuscan. Easy drinking and good with food.
Good by itself, but needs 45 minutes in a decanter to open up properly, so be patient.
Still young and will be better in the next few years. This Single Vineyard is showing mild complexity at this point.
A very interesting interpretation of Sangiovese. I had the 2018 last year and it is very consistent.
A blend of 97% Sangiovese with 3% Merlot. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (35% new).
14.7% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Ripe fruit, good acid, balanced and finish well. Drinking 2012 in Aug '24, fantastic bottle to share on a late summer evening paired with prime tenderloin, with my beautiful wife. — 4 months ago
Tastes like the wines I had in Tuscany. Bought it at the winery. Had a wine tasting there with all their wines. Well worth the trip. Beautiful castle. 2017 vintage. — 8 months ago
An absolutely fabulous and unique rose unlike any other Californian Sangiovese rose. — 3 years ago
Aging nicely with a reddish brown color. Very cherry, mint, and mushroom aromas. On the bud, smooth with a nice finish of cherry, strawberry, and a subtle spice note. — 6 months ago

Golden in color.
Aromatic nose of white flowers, citrus, ripen melons, tropical fruits, spices, light rose water, red apples and minerals.
Medium bodied and refreshing, with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with apples, pears, melons, lemons, mangoes, sea salt, roses, white pepper and bananas.
Long finish with tangy limes.
This is a delicious Gewürztraminer from Anderson Valley in California. Showing a beautiful nose right out of the bottle.
Easy drinking and tasty with a lot of alcohol, so you better watch out.
Nicely balanced with a touch of RS. Very perfumy and dangerously good, as the high alcohol is nicely integrated.
A good wine to have all by itself, Interesting and easy to drink.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
