Kinheimer Rosenberg Spätlese Riesling 2017

At first thought this would be higher. It as it warmed and opened actually lost some of the acid that was keeping it balanced and became a bit too sweet. Still a very nice food pairing, and very classically mosel. Only 8.5%. — 4 months ago

A grand cru BdB that’s usually a blend of 2 vintages. The latest release is 66% from 2018 and 34% from 2017.
Nice mix of stone fruit and citrus fruit, bread dough, white flower, and light ginger spice on the aromatic nose. Would like a bit more entry on the soft delicate palate. 5g/l dosage is about right for my taste.

Gelchw Albertz-Erben Erdener Treppchen Spätlese Riesling 2012

Vintage 2012 | no visible change of color, Turkish delight smell, lavendel, honey and an incredible vibrant taste. Extremely well balanced. Merkelbach gem. I pair it with the Belgian Remoudou cheese 🥰 — 7 months ago
