Not fizzy this year but still tastes like nail polish remover. But pretty good 18.19.21 — 5 months ago
Neal never stops impressing!!! Would have guessed Bordeaux all the way. 1hr+ decant. Nose of dark cherries, cedar, and menthol. Blue and black fruit on the palate with well integrated alcohol. Medium depth and medium plus finish. Reminds me of Chateau Pontet-Canet but 1/5 of the price. Neal rocks!! — 3 years ago

Bright yellow colour. Open and inviting with sweet ripe aromas of yellow fruits and hints of medicinal herbs. Stony mineral on the palate with a long slightly saline finish.
Les Combettes is in the top league of Puligny 1er Crus sitting on the same mid-slope as Montrachet Grand Cru, but on the opposite Northern side of the village bordering with Meursault. This vineyard lies just below Champ-Canet and almost touches Comte Lafon's plot in Charmes 1er Cru in Meursault.

2014 vintage. Decanted and tasted multiple times at multiple temps from 30 mins open-3 hrs open and 45-60 degrees. Color somewhere between golden and Chartreuse yellow. Plenty of ripeness with remaining acidity crawling along the palate baseline. Do not see this improving but surmise it can hold steady at this mature Burgundy status for another 3-4 years. 02.22.25. — a month ago

2019 vintage. Sampled via Coravin. Dark-fruited nose. Medium/medium-heavy body. Nose a preamble for the brooding plum, cherry, cassis, blackberry and blueberry. Noticeable tannins afoot but not on Terminator-dodging/avoidance terms. From the property previously owned by the late, great, one and only Robin Williams. New owners Château Pontet-Canet BDX peeps named the new venture after the middle names of Robin Williams’ children. Cool. Structure definitely hovering with that dark fruit and extremely well made effort. Not gratuitous in any way. Need to stash a bottle and reconvene in 2035. Not your usual, high-end, Napa cab. 03.12.25. — 22 days ago

This was number 2 of 4 from Costco package. Pleasantly surprised. Agreebwith the fact it needs a little time to breath. Opened well. Nice mouth feel, dry and smooth. Dark cherry and raspberry. — 3 years ago

Holy wow! This wine was a unique and memorable experience. It was zinging out from the first glass over the next few hours it only deepened and became more substantial. Very ripe fruit but not aged. It retained vibrancy with complex earthy notes. Absolutely fantastic vintage. Top notch. — a month ago
