Wow that nose! There is chalk and lemon peel, to that point that I could be thrown off-pace to Chablis here. There are some pear notes too that linger in the back. The palate is a joy... There is a massive acid backbone that makes it a very long wine. There is width and matter, giving it presence. There are lemon peel and pear notes all along, along with a chalky, dusty mouthfeel on the sides. The finish is long, extended, with pear notes and that slight lemon peel thing which goes away somehow in the end. That's clearly a very serious vinho Verde here! I'm a big fan — 3 years ago
Easy to drink on pop & pour for such a young Syrah.
Reminded me a bit of the Domaine Rostaing’s I’ve enjoyed. Ripe black cherry, crème de cassis, violets, lavender, pepper, stem inclusion, notes of roasted chestnuts, grilled meats, iron pan, spices, dark flowers, nice acidity with good balance and elegant finish. — 3 months ago

Bing cherry, black raspberries, cranberries, chalky minerals lending to a nice long finish. WE gave this a 94! Probably in time, delicious! — 10 days ago
