Wow that nose! There is chalk and lemon peel, to that point that I could be thrown off-pace to Chablis here. There are some pear notes too that linger in the back. The palate is a joy... There is a massive acid backbone that makes it a very long wine. There is width and matter, giving it presence. There are lemon peel and pear notes all along, along with a chalky, dusty mouthfeel on the sides. The finish is long, extended, with pear notes and that slight lemon peel thing which goes away somehow in the end. That's clearly a very serious vinho Verde here! I'm a big fan — 3 years ago

The 2021 Cornas Granit 60 is a terrific result from this challenging vintage. Slightly reductive at first, swishing the glass gradually unlocks a red-fruited profile. Leafy undertones, forest floor and cured meat elements add more contrast. Medium-bodied, concentrated and remarkably refreshing, the 2021 finishes on a savory note. Yet another exemplary wine from this co-op. Bloody and irony on the nose, some nice fruit underneath the primal elements. Very linear on the palate, medium body but great intensity of savory flavors. So soft and enveloping but without excess weight. Very nice acids. — 10 days ago
