On the palate, it's full-bodied and powerful, though it comes across as slightly over-extracted, with firm, grippy tannins that need time to settle.

On the nose, this is very fresh black cherry... On the palate, that cherry plays alongside big, juicy, thick-skinned black plums. Something earthy here... Dried sage? The finish has some complexity in that here I taste a few more things like licorice root including its "bark" like what Dutch people chew. The tannins throughout I find wonderfully balanced with the fruit here. I really like this one. — 4 years ago

In the Nose, it reminds me of fruit roasted in warm brick oven, If that makes! Although the fruit is ripe, it is very understated. Dusty Black fruit dominated with cooking spices.
