Lighter tannins, and softer. But boy does it pack a nose! Dark cherries, figs, leather and wood. Nice long fruity finish. — 2 years ago
Almost no breathing required. Very light on the palette and refreshing. — 3 years ago

Eight years in my cellar. Big boy wine. Needs 90 minutes in the decanter. Inky. World class wine. 15.5% but no problem, wears it well. Complexity off the charts. Every sip was different. Coffee, smoke, blueberry, Peppercorns, gorgeous acid. Fine tannins. Youthful at 12 years. — 3 months ago
For a Ridge Zin, this strikes me as a big boy. Rich nose has intense, rich, spicy blackberry fruit, accented with a little pungent American oak, and a nice dry gravel note underneath. Expansive in the mouth, the fruit is rich and concentrated, but avoids jamminess, and the palate also features a characteristic brambly component. Finishes dry and clingy, with tactile tannins (soft) coating the mouth. I’m having it with pasta, but this wine is built for a grilled porterhouse. — 2 years ago

Deep ruby color. Aromas of bazooka bubblegum, cherry and hint of sage. Very tasty cab blend- interesting aromas and full of red fruit on the palate. — 8 days ago
