100% Pinot Noir sourced from Domaine de la Cote and La Rinconada vineyard in Santa Rita Hills. Aged for 6 months in neutral oak and 4 months in tank. Delicate nose with red fruit and spicy notes (cinnamon). Medium-bodied, elegant, good acidity. Drank it too quickly — 8 months ago
Bright red fruit that finishes. Smooth with some slight spice and mineral notes — a year ago
Blend from estate vineyards; Sanford & Benedict Vineyard (~44%) and La Rinconada (~56%), changes a bit year/year, aged 11 months in 27% new French oak, light Ruby color with aromas of tart fruit, spice and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of raspberry and cranberry with white flower notes and an array of spices. Fine dusty tannins, long finish ending with fresh fruit, spice and earthy tones. Great but below their standard for top single vineyards. Plenty of freshness, some oak standing out, needs time to integrate — 2 years ago
