Lemon peel, mineral air, lemon oil, the sea.
Oyster shell, subtle lemon oil, minerality.
Very elegant style. Martini-like mouthfeel and texture.
Really lovely expression of Chardonnay especially in stark contrast to California style chards from Sandhi and Matthiasson. Wow, Chablis. I love Chablis. — a month ago
Yann Bertrand is finally available in MI. Was only able to buy one bottle. So good. red berries and spice — a month ago
Quite light medium ruby, with wide garnet rim . Quite a lot of spicy darker fruits , with blackberry , dark cherry , very fruit driven still , floral hints . On the palate there good density and bright acidity , quite rounded ripe but gritty tannin , with a quite sweet spiced darker fruit profile , with a touch of anise , earth and dark cherry on the medium length finish . This is drinking well and still showing quite a lot of fruit , quite rounded and ample in style . From now and over the next 5 or so years . — 15 days ago

Swoon! Absolutely lovely chenin with just a little bottle age and plenty of life left — 21 days ago
Juicy and ripe, full of red cherries and earthy tannins. This is much better after decanting a day. Loving LaFarge wines — 2 months ago

Picked this up at Motor City Wine in Detroit and am obsessed. Invigorating mouthfeel, complex flavor, light enough to sip and lovely with a slight chill. This will be one I keep my eyes peeled for on every shopping trip for years to come!! — 16 days ago
