Crowded House

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Zippy, quaffable, stone, and tropical fruits! Gooseberry, limestone, and fresh cut grass. Crisp and refreshing on a hot summer day.

School House Vineyard

Mezcolanza Zinfandel Blend 2012

This winery’s Zins age beautifully. Color is still youthful. Complex nose shows earthy dark berry fruit, spice, sandalwood. Almost Bordeaux-like in the mouth. Dry, savory, some spicy blackberry fruit, and a minerally finish. Dry, with nice acids. — 4 months ago

Great time to open one of these. They need at least ten years to really come into their own

Band of Vintners

Consortium Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Blend of about 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, with the rest Merlot & Cabernet Franc, aged in new oak, deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruit, spice, floral and vanilla notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and currants with cedar, vanilla and cacao, nice mouthfeel. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and sweet spicy mineral notes. Very nice, great value! — 11 days ago

Mud House Wines

Central Otago Pinot Noir 2015

Dark cherry on the palate. Some Tannins providing dryness offsetting fruitiness common in Pinot Noir. This is a style typical of the Otago region and one that I like. January 2024. — 5 months ago

Mud House Wines

Single Vineyard Claim 431 Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019

Mid Ruby colour with soft tannins, raspberries and cherry flavours with good acidity and an extended finish
