Soft nose of dark berries. Delicate task of velvet dark fruit tannic dryness. finish. — a month ago
Not too many Sangiovese roses in my life. This is good. As it warms it gets much more earthy and vegetal. A lot of red watermelon, but overall savory. Pretty great with bbq. I’m guessing not so great with lighter fare or to crush over an afternoon. — a month ago
Medium ruby with quite a terracotta , garnet rim . Quite sweetly spiced nose , red cherries , cedar , dried spice and some strawberry coulis , earthy undertones . Pretty young and fruit forward at the moment . This is quite elegant and perfumed on the palate with lots of fresh red fruits , cedar and dried sage . Balanced acidity and ripe but slightly grippy tannins . This has good length and a saline finish . Quite young still but enjoyable at the moment , will continue to show well over the next 10 years , maybe more. At Doppo restaurant, Soho . — a month ago
Fruit forward. High tannins and acidity. Spicy, but nice finish. Would enjoy again — a month ago
I really enjoyed this wine. It was the bottle that introduced me to wine drinking. A nice beginner one for me at least. — a month ago
Notes of licorice and tobacco. Opened up beautifully. Lovely wine! — 2 months ago

The winery’s entry level Sangiovese bottling. Aged 15 months in second-use French oak for 2020 vintage, it delivers a darker-fruited profile while preserving Sangiovese’s classic character. A versatile, crowd-pleasing choice and pairs especially well Northern Italian pasta dishes. — a month ago
