Great base-level CdR from the negociant side of Chave. Floral and high toned fruit on the nose, red fruit and a bit of pepper on the finish. Some good typical spice. Decent finish. Slightly high alcohol. Probably has some upside with aging. — 6 days ago

W64 200, Xmas day family wine 3L perfect in every way, what a cracker, silky berries, in the same level as say Gevrey Chambertan, without the expense. Just had a rethink, this now goes to my top rated wine. — 12 days ago
Medium lemon colour . Quite rich with lemon rind , honied notes , buttered popcorn and orange flowers. On the palate much more strict and linear , with ripe apricot , lemon rind , orange , lovely intensity and balanced acidity . After a while more mineral and linear , intense acidity . This is drinking well with time in the glass , but will continue to improve over the next 5 years or so and continue well a further 5 . — 8 days ago
Drank on 4/1/25 in BKK Italian restaurant. Brought by James Goh. Very drinkable, fragrant, long finishes, easy to drink Burgundy wine — a day ago
Lots of berry jam, oak and spice. Will be fabulous with a tomahawk for NYE! — 4 days ago

Depth and concentration, this bottle is an ode to south saint joseph wines, with great balance and complexity. To achieve a better grade I need more finesse, but the vintages is also like that — 20 days ago
