Deep purple in color with a reddish rim.
Dry on the palate and fruit forward, with a very pretty nose.
Showing black fruits, cedar, vanilla, licorice, spices, tobacco, chocolates and coffee.
Full bodied and soft with nice complexity and balance.
This is a gorgeous 15 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Rich and elegant. Complex and nicely balanced. Fruit forward and interesting.
Good right out of the bottle and delicious by itself.

8000th wine on here and it’s a doozy! Beautiful raspberry and blueberry fruit, exotic barrel notes, integrated perfectly. White pepper. Stems. Umami. Super exotic. Top notch barrels. Lighter than expected. Best domestic syrah ever? Kinda… thanks for tuning in! 8000 now and more to go. Maybe not Hahahha — 24 days ago
Power, poise and precision. Black fruit galore, spice, bacon and butcher shop, bonfire, smoke, olives, garrique - an incredible nose that gave me goosebumps. Perfect balance, immense intensity and just spot on. — 20 days ago

Fresh and with so much savory fruit, but really needs time as the tannins are imposing. Really needed the steak! — 12 days ago
Big and bright! Light clove and blackberry. Memories of Gino are bright with this one! Miss you big guy! 🕊️ — a month ago

Served with Fisherman’s Pasta - sablefish, mussels, saffron gnocchetti pasta, fennel, fresh baguette toast. Well stored Hermitage Blanc is a special experience and this bottle of 1999 “Le Méal” was no exception. Fascinating notes of clove, yellow flowers, apricot, marmalade, honeysuckle, and sunflower seed. Next to the Montrachet, the acid is perceived to be low and there’s an almost oily texture. Delicious. — 3 days ago
