Blend of equal amounts of local red grapes; Caino, Espadeiro and Loueiro, Ruby red color with aromas of red fruits, herb, floral and cigar box notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with tobacco, oak and garden herbs. Medium+ finish, chalky tannins, savory, ending with herbs, spice, cedar and slight fruit, savory. Nice, will continue to age. — 2 years ago
Well Balanced fresh tasting white, surprisingly good. Best enjoyed with good local food. Yamas ! — 4 years ago
Smoky, savoury, and spicy nose, some oak and a leesy sulphidic note. On the palate mainly citrus but a little riper verging on to stone fruit. One of David Bicknell’s lesser Cuvées which I thought would be lean but not so. Coming together at 6 years of age. Drinking really well from one of Australia’s best Chardonnay exponents. — 5 years ago
The Tenuta di Castellaro - Nero Ossidiana originates from a very beautiful spot in the world - the island of Lipari, one of the seven Aeolian Islands, near Sicily. This is a warm wine, full of red fruits, cherry, cassis, blackberry and some spice. Made of a blend of 60% Corinto, 25% Nero D’Avola, and 15% local grapes. It is very smooth and velvety, with a long after taste, as the slowly setting sun leaving a purple orange shine over the gentle waves. — 5 years ago
Bought as a comparison with the 2014 grand reserve Rioja. Price was €10 from local wine spot. Soft wine with an interesting after taste. — 6 years ago
Pretty pumped to find some Envinate wines at a little wine shop in the heart of Seattle. Grabbed this guy to see what all the hubbub about Ribeira Sacra is all about - and it did not disappoint. 85% Mencia with a field blend of local varieties rounding it out. Gorgeous alluring nose of fresh market black cherries, cherry candy, violet, and a bit of musky earth. Beautiful crunchy red fruit and textured cinnamon/clove spice plus a bit of graphitey (we’re gunna pretend that’s a word) minerality. Beautiful wine, and again, very gluggable. Wish I had more of this. — 8 years ago
This is terrific. Majority picotendro, the local clone of Nebbiolo, along with 3 local grapes I’ve never heard of. An earlier review listed them, if you’re curious. This is an alpine Nebbiolo. Light, slightly sour cherry/ raspberry with a wee bit of earthiness. A mouthful of flavor. Tannins are there but integrated pretty well. Will buy this again. Think it was @$18! — 10 months ago
I have always enjoyed this luscious SB! Local store seems to be getting a steady supply. I have retrieved 16's 18's and now the 2019! Four to five yrs. age on this is amazing! Also fantastic tasting this 2019..so crisp and refreshing. Loads of lemon, white flowers, grass, spearmint, razor sharp acidity...the 14.1 alc. Is hiding in there!
Great job @Anthony Biagi 👍 — 5 years ago

Lush cal Chardonnay, bull bodied, lots of depth and taste. Very good, paid $8 with case discount at total wines natick. — 8 years ago
Picked up a couple of these from a local cellar sale at a crazy cheap price and have been happy with each one.
Classically older SLD Cabernet. The fruit spectrum is on the red and black side (as I expect from SLD) with a mocha/cocoa layered sweetness. Some older fig, sweet pipe tobacco, and a core of fruit still in-tact. Soft on the mid-palate but retaining nice structure throughout the finish. Exactly what I expected from 34yr old Napa Cabernet.
Hope to try the Realm X Hartwell wine to see the vision from where this was to what the profile goal is in the future. — a year ago

Visiting Fredericksburg TX for a few days. This is TX hill country and has a big winery community. Never tried any TX wines before but found a few surprises here. We tasted at Becker earlier today but not this wine. $30 on the restaurant wine list. Becker wasn’t our favorite stop but it is the only local winery represented on their list. Overall local wines seemed overpriced compared to CA wines. Just realized we had an older vintage (2018) on our last trip from Houston to Anaheim. It’s interesting that most of the grapes used in the local wines come from Lubbock (panhandle) area. Don’t know where these grapes came from, or what varietals are present. — 5 years ago
Domaine Drouhin Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2017: Medium-bodied. Bright red fruits on the nose and strawberry, raspberry, cherry & plum on the palate. Additionally, there is a light touch of forest floor, earthiness ending with a soft dry finish. Glad to be back supporting & enjoying some local outdoor dinner spots! Cheers🍷 — 5 years ago
Really nice pinot noir- we buy for birthdays and nice dinners.
Would buy again. — 6 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Made with the local grape Carricante, pale to medium lemon color with aromas of stone fruit, citrus and honey floral notes. On the palate flavors of ripe apple and pear with slight citrus and nutty notes. Good acidity, balance and structure, medium+ finish ending with salty mineral nutty character. Very Nice! — 8 months ago
