Wine is incredibly dark and brooding. Very dense and heavy taste and texture right out of the bottle.
Drank over about 3 hours. Oxygen was this wines friend and the wine opened up quite a bit to reveal more bright and red fruit to complement the black fruit and density which also gave way as it breathed.
Not a blockbuster from a complexity perspective and lacked the punch of something special. But a solid oakville cab nonetheless and not too oaky. — a month ago
Another good Oregon Chardonnay. I like the producer Walter Scott a lot — 8 days ago

Beautiful balance between lusciousness and flinty minerality. Wowzer. — a month ago
Young entry level wine from this producer. Took an hour to open up. Nice depth a slightly reductive characteristics, in a good way. Will add depth over time — 25 days ago

Nose: potent. That th tropicality. Piercing fresh minerals.
Palate: slatey. Hints of tropical fruit. A bit bitter on open. Needs an hour to open up and integrate. This may be a masterpiece with time.
Still needs another year.
