Telmo Rodriguez,Gago G, from Toro, Spain. 2017 vintage. Made of Tinta de Toro (local Tempernillo)and Albiño Mayor. Brilliant red color, delicate nose of light dill, black fruits and vanilla notes. Good structure, balanced, chewy. Went well with the Sinta steak. — 3 years ago
This time around was great with a leg of lamb! Chocolate, coffee and mild tannins. — a month ago
13.5% abv. Little viognier. Label says “ savor it over the next ten years”. We sure did. Even more tasty in 2025. — 7 months ago

Medium ruby in color with a garnet rim; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary, and tertiary aromas of dried figs, cedar, and sour cherry; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, medium alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of strawberry sauce, red currants, and wet gravel with a long finish. This wine is past its prime. The fruit was completely gone after about 20 minutes. I bet it was a great wine a few years ago. — 4 months ago
Drinks a little hot this time around and I opened it at the correct temp. Concentrated with ripe tannins and some interesting wet rock nuances in the palate. Quality for the price is definitely there. — 8 months ago

Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah blend. Rhone Rangers ride again. Color is blood, sweat and tears. Aroma of wood oils, berry jelly and warm fresh tilled soil. Flavors are balanced, juicy, crisp and warm. Hint bittersweet on the finish. This is a great central coast of Cali blend. Leans toward the gentle elegance of Grenache, but is complex and cool as polished steel. A great red that’s different yet feels right at home in Rhône.. — 2 months ago
