This bottle reminds me more of my first bottle. Ready to drink, pretty much pnp. Medium ruby colored. Not much on the nose. 2007 vintage poured on December 31, 2022. Dark in the glass, tannins have smoothed out and still strong raspberry and cherry on the palette. Paired with Beef Wellington and a green peppercorn sauce. Admittedly the sauce overpowered the wine. — 3 years ago

Huge extraction, ultra rich presentation. The nose is dominated with maraschino cherries, blueberry jam, and a whiff of talcum powder.

From PnP at cellar temp. Light garnet color. Intense aromas of tart red cherries, wet stones, licorice. Palette is dull at first. 15m in the decanter brought out earthy funk and oxidative, sherry-like notes. Lush mouthfeel, medium acid and medium- tannin. Seems well drinking at this stage with room for development. Pairing to homemade lasagna. — 6 years ago

Exotic, fruit-driven perfume wafts from the glass. Kiwi and passion fruits are supported by rocks and stones.
