Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. No formal notes. The 2020 Laurent Tribut is a distinctive and strikingly delicious Chablis on a night of many other examples from the region. The fruit is abundant; fresh and pure with lovely acid and minerals. The next generation is looking bright! Drink now through 2030+ — a month ago
Classic, delightful, floral,
Mouth watering acidity. — 4 months ago
It took a while to open up but this is beautiful. Very raven way. Lime, limestone, expansive and oily. Very precise ands detailed. Salinity and a long finish. This has years ahead but I’d rocking. — 14 days ago
Muted nose. Honey, apricot, and butter. Buttery, fully coating the palate. Heavy finish. — 8 days ago
Damn this was so mineraly, flinty, and savory to me! Like licking a rock. Very impressive but also a little brash at this point, would probably be incredible with some more time — 20 days ago
Quite light straw . Very complex and taut on the nose , with crushed shells , touch of honied citrus fruits , gun flint , green apple , camomile . On the palate this is very mineral and intense with chalk dust and citrus , apple peel , really long and mineral . Good volume but really excellent balance . Perfect fresh acidity, and saline mineral intensity on the finish . Really young still but so good at the moment , though will continue on like this , probably improving for a further decade at least . Restaurant Drouant , Paris . — 22 days ago
