17.5. Classic, clean, crisp but with depth and length. — 16 days ago
The 2003 Blanchot pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, this is developing and all about the minerals with crushed seashell and chalk taking the lead over some verbana and a creamy lemon leesy thing. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and savory, leesy and mineral laden. A special wine that needs air to really come alive. Drink now with patience and through 2033. — a month ago
Strangely oxed day one, glorious day two. Maybe it’s me? — 37 minutes ago
Yes, 14 Les Clos and yes, it is a LASER and yes, it will pounce on whatever you’re eating. Meow. — a month ago
Dauvissat perfection. 2012 Preuses is in an amazing spot, riveting, chiseled, textural and pure with classic Chablisen oyster shell minerality in a tidal wave of spiced orchard fruit, lilies and the slightest nutty edge. It’s incredibly silky on the palate showing killer density without weight. Lasers of racy citrusy acids and a long saline finish round it out. Fabulous showing. — 22 days ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2022 pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart orchards and citrus fruits: green apple, lemon curd, minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Drink now through 2032. — 2 months ago

Lovely bottle sweetness, fruit shows a little fat, as acidity has mostly faded, rich and deep flavors, medium-long, lingering finish, mature but still a lovely bottle tonight!! — a day ago
