Surprisingly decent. Raspberries, blackberries, a little bit of tart, a little bit of nice organic tree bark. — a month ago
Cherry and pepper with tannic bite upon opening which relaxed into a confident and mature subtle rounded earthiness. — 24 days ago
Loving this full and luscious Rhone blend from the New World. Hits all the right fruit a d earth notes my palate loves. I would drink this any day. — 3 months ago
Beautiful. From legendary Thierry Germain. Ungrafted rootstocks planted on sandy topsoil. 12,5% abv. Dense yet weightless. Like ballerina performing a physically demanding solo yet evoking a sense of lightness and grace on the edge of your tongue. High acidity, soft chalky-type (drying) tannins, but juicy. — a month ago
Nice soft mousse body, yellow peach, tropical melons, pineapple, some lemon meringue, lime zest, slightly bitter apple cider, whipped cream, hard chalkiness, alluvial limestone, saline, sea fossils, bread crust, yeastiness, yellow florals, racey acidity, nicely balanced & structured with a finish that lasts 90 seconds.
Needs a few more years in bottle. — 2 months ago

A deep, cloudy orange color in the glass, the 2020 Catarrato Praruar opens with an airy blend of dried apricots, crushed apples and ground ginger. It’s soft-textured and round, with ripe orchard fruits and a cascade of liquid inner florals that coats the palate with youthful tension. The 2020 tapers off wonderfully fresh, tactile and firm, leaving the mouth watering as hints of candied citrus and sour melon resolve on the close. This is a fantastic vintage of Praruar that can be easily enjoyed by fans of orange wines. (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2024)
