Favorite wine of the night. Indigenous grape from Lazio (Rome), great balance with a meaty, chewy tasty finish. Cheers. — 3 years ago
First bottling for this Cesanese del Piglio producer, and it’s very interesting. Still young and a bit harsh on the tannins, but the style is lean and elegant. Not a typical Cesanese. Notes of Dolcetto-like dark fruit, crossed with floral Nebbiolo elements. — 4 years ago

Oh my thoughts this was a gorgeous red. Tangy smell with a tannic taste smell and taste did not coordinate which made this wine a total experience loved this with l’amitriciana — 2 years ago
