Considered the star of the CdA lineup, and similar to their chiantis which all have some Merlot blended in, but this was too much Merlot for me - had that plasticity I don’t love — a month ago
Medium Ruby color with fragrant berry fruit, spice and earthy floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and cedar with notes of pepper, tangy mouthfeel. Fine tannins, long savory finish ending with a mushroom, citrus and earthy mineral character. Nice! — 3 months ago

2013 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately and after 30 mins. Reticent nose. Medium-heavy body. Massive flavors and structure. Wouldn’t open it any time soon. Phenomenal now but so so intense.
