Dark red purple. Inviting nose and medium full, fruit-forward (for a European) palate of blueberry-blackberry compote. Bright medium acidity and medium minus tannins that mostly assert back-palate. Dark and slightly bitter finish (Touriga Nacional showing). Fine example of Portuguese non-Porto red. Ready for hearty entrées like roasted beef or pork. Drink now through 2028. — 5 months ago
Very good and very Portuguese. Lemon-lime and saline. Light, clear and gently acidic. Similar to Spanish Albariño (same grape) but lighter. Never had Trajadura before, but it’s part of the blend. 12% abv. Really great value white! With Momofuku noodles. — 6 months ago

Super velvety, light to medium body but still very plump. Very long finish. Would drink! — 4 months ago
Spice, sausage, black cherry, pepper, higher tannins, similar to Merlot. Single varietal. Robert a Parker 92 points. 16 mo French oak. — 5 months ago
Deep Ruby with aromas of fresh, ripe dark fruit and notes of sweet cacao and spice, blend of Touriga Nacional 60%, Touriga Franca 30% and Sousão 10%, and at 113 grams per liter of residual sugar. On the palate pronounced flavors of blackberry, ripe plum and currants with notes of cacao and espresso. Well balanced, fine tannins, still tight, long finish ending with ripe juicy fruit, spice and earthy character. Very Nice! I would wait another 5 years! — 7 months ago

Vintage 1982 | it’s not often I have the chance to enjoy 40+ years old vintage port. This Quinta do Noval is alive and kicking, very vibrant, good balanced and pleasantly aged. With cheeses. — 5 days ago
