Inky dark color. Tomato leaf, coffee, and mint on the nose. More pyrazine notes on the palate along with cocoa, cranberry, leather, black pepper, molasses, raisins, coffee, tobacco, and dark cherry. 5 years is a great spot for this. It's inky and clings to the glass. Blackberry, cherry, cocoa, mint, graphite. Decent structure, it punches above its weight class. I'd do it again, especially with tri-tip.
