Delicious, not too acidic, shockingly yellow — 8 months ago
2013 vintage. The Premier Cru "Clos du Roi" (or sometimes spelled "Roy") is considered by many the best vineyard in Mercurey. 2013 was a challenging vintage in many respects, but this is delicious. Intriguing nose with coffee beans and cherries, intertwined with floral and herbal impressions. Very fresh in the mouth, with juicy sour cherries, subtle spices, and a slightly rustic tannic backbone. Very good length. No signs of fatigue, I wouldn't be surprised to see this holding up well for another decade. Abv. 13%. — 8 months ago
2024 vintage. At this moment in time my favorite rose. Bright and balanced. So many bright fruits with a hint of fresh tobacco. Salt and pepper too. — a month ago

This wine is almost clear in the glass. The bubbles come up quickly and disappear soon, too. The nose is yeasty and earthy, with a big mineral aspect. The palate shows Meyer lemon, zest, and that yeasty note. — 7 days ago
