Popped and poured just below my cellar temp (which is currently at 59°F); enjoyed over the course of two days. Consistent throughout. The 2006 pours a reflective, straw color with silvery rim. Medium viscosity with no signs of particles or gas. On the nose, the wine is developing. Notes of lemons, limes, honey, cashews and oyster shell. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium++ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and super chalky. This is absolutely killer Chablis that almost seems evergreen. Drink now through 2031.

I’m a bit of a sucker for this wine - love the baroque rich yellow fruit with the touch of white nougat contrasted by zippy lemony acidity and crushed shell minerality.
Starts broad & rich, finishes off linear & liberally taut, with just a hint of tannin.
Such lovely sipping!

Really come out of its shell. Meaty, feral and minty nose. Also so much limestone and it’s so prevalent. Such a great nose. 50% N Rhone, 50% Baden. Palate is fresh and energetic with terrific intensity and gorgeous early season blackberry fruit and just insane juiciness. Powdery tannins and extraordinary fruit character. This is an easy 9.5 and will only improve over the days and hours. Now this is something with air and had a glorious velvety texture and melty tannins. — 7 months ago
enough gasoline, oyster shell, and cream to pull me back online for a memory storage toggle. salt for miles at the end. — a year ago
Awesome! Its shed some of the ripe and primary fruit, but still has a warm vintage generosity to it in the acidity. Captures Vaillons charming fruit and oyster shell core. Was expecting more honeyed richness but surprised by the nerve underneath the warmth of the year. Its fresh and gets going. Totally fucked with prosciutto wrapped asparagus, boiled taters and sauce Mornay, one of the top pairing of the year so far. — 2 years ago
This vintage is drinking so well right now while you wait for 12 and 14. After a multi hour decant Dauvissat’s 2013 Clos radiates with power and intensity showing tremendous volume, textural weight and layers of oyster shell minerality, racy lemony acids and a massively long, vibrant, saline finish. Still many years to go on this one. — 7 months ago
Thomas Pico is one of my favorite Chablis producers. Chalk, oyster shell, under ripe green apple. Acid High. Delicious. — 2 years ago
