Nice New World type of Pinot Noir from South Africa. Excellent with pizza. Crunchy tannins and lots of fruit. Not elegant but an excellent example of this type of Pinot Noir. — 2 months ago
Dry and balanced, lots of dark fruit. — 4 months ago
Pronounced nose of red fruits. Rose, strawberry, crush granite, black tea. Interesting pomegranate flavor on the palate. Beautifully balanced wine. Long finish. — 5 days ago
Ripe red fruits and almost tropical notes. Balanced. #pinotnoir #newzealand — a month ago
For hot climates, like here on the Outer Banks, I love chilled Pinot Noir for all day drinking. This Marlborough Pinot has the right acidity to stand up to the spices and heat of the NC summer. — 3 months ago

Quite light garnet wide terracotta , garnet rim. Quite a lot of dry spice , nutmeg , star anis , red cherry, raspberry , red currant , earthy hints . After a while a bit more leafy , smoky on the nose. On the palate this is quite light and direct in style , raspberry , red cherry and those earthy , granite touches . This has fresh acidity and fine , light tannins . Reasonable earthy , spiced finish . Certainly ready and on this showing will probably last ok another 5 or so years. Not the most complex , overall I found it a little pedestrian, but still showing ok , but no need to wait any longer , I don’t see this improving . — 18 days ago
