Just opened, 14 years in the bottle after couple of years in the barrel! Still tasting well, young & juicy, should easily last another decade, but nice now. Deep Ruby, dark fruits, spice, complex nose. Palate reflects juicy rich berry fruits, well structured harmonious wine. Fine soft rich tannins, long finish ending with fruit, tobacco and earthy tones. Ruby with aromas of red fruit. Blend of 33% Grenache, 33% Syrah, 33% Mouvèdre & splash of mostly Cinsault. Aromas of berry fruits, oak & sweet spice. On the palate flavors of raspberry, cherry & blackberry with hints of oak, leather, vanilla spice & black pepper, aged in oak (20% new), complex & elegant with fine soft tannins, long finish.
