I thought this had a harsh taste at first, but then it really opened up and grew on me. The harshness softened, maybe was mulberry. Definitely some sour cherry. Medium to full bodied. I liked more than light pinots, not as much as Barolo. — 4 days ago

This Barbera d'Alba is spicy and showing good structure. Fruitier on the palate than on the nose.

Still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly.

Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
