2018, opened in 2025. Delicious, golden almost orange hue, fresh fruits and citrus nose, balanced tannins and acidity, Etna crushed stone, juicy and super easily drinkable, yet still complex and interesting. — 3 months ago
91+, a baby and needs 1 hour to open up. More fruit and density than usual, but just a smodge more than normal, pretty consistent! — a month ago
2022 Etna Rosso santo spirito: light dark soil, very loose and sandy. lighter cherry and fruitier nose, on the palate, cherry, heavy minerals. Strong tannins. Very popular wine. Very deep vines. — 12 days ago
Very nice, a little age has helped bring out some complexity. But the 14.5% weighs it down a bit — a month ago
Nose: blackberry flowers. Intense.
Palate: slightly tart blackberry fruit. Clean. Bright. A very well made simple wine. Grippy.
Long finish. — 4 months ago
My Loup anniversary dinner. Much better than the Grenache ;) — 11 days ago
Do not pass up an opportunity to buy this wine. Expensive Nerello but worth every cent. Tart red fruit with smoke and scorched earth. Complex but very easy drinking. — 18 days ago

2020 Pietra marina - Etna Bianca superiore. Golden straw coloration. From Mila, birthplace of carricante, why it’s superiore. On the nose, citrus, herbaceous, salinity and minerality. On the palate, rich mouthfeel, citrus, herbs, salinity from the sea, and a finish of herbs (tarragon?) and minerals. Interesting- combo of Chablis and Chardonnay. Paired with mushroom and spring onion mayonnaise. — 12 days ago
