Happy Lenten Friday to all the Catholics out there…if you needed a sipper for seafood, mission accomplished — 12 hours ago
Underrated. Maybe a bit one dimensional but chunky and fleshy, good balance between crushed and cooked fruit. Is what it is but in the end delicious. — 2 months ago
2018, opened in 2025. Delicious, golden almost orange hue, fresh fruits and citrus nose, balanced tannins and acidity, Etna crushed stone, juicy and super easily drinkable, yet still complex and interesting. — 7 days ago
Woodland Wine in Nashville - tasting recommendation — 17 days ago
This has all the traits that make Etna Reds so attractive. Medium bodied , red fruited with pronounced minerality. Vines planted on the pure Ellittico lava flow terroir. Predominantly Nerello Mascalese. As many tasters previously have said of Etna Rosso, a hypothetical blend of Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir. I will leave my last bottle for a couple of years. — 3 months ago
Nose: blackberry flowers. Intense.
Palate: slightly tart blackberry fruit. Clean. Bright. A very well made simple wine. Grippy.
Long finish. — a month ago
Light, fruity, and slightly spiced on the nose. Dry, beautiful mouthful, doesn’t linger too long but doesn’t dissipate. Berry. — 2 months ago
Ray Vanderhoff
Bordeaux style blend of Merlot (64%), Cabernet Sauvignon (17%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Petite Verdot (9%). Dark ruby/purple color with a garnet rim. Aromas of dark berry fruit, graphite and dusty earth. Flavors of blackberry, black cherry, ripe plums, kirsch, black licorice and iron. Full bodied, long finish and intensely structured. Beautifully integrated acidity and tannins. Great combination of power and elegance. — 5 days ago
