Part of a Chateau Mouton Rothschild vertical from 1988-1990. Early on, this was a probably my favorite of the three Moutons and showed well throughout the course of the evening. Expressive red and dark forest fruits with tobacco, leather, earth and baking spices. The structure was still showing its tensile strength. This has a long life ahead. 1 hour decant(little cloudy sediment). A wondrous dark ruby red color. On the nose: jumping from the glass are dark berries, loamy earth, oak, pencil shavings, and smoke. Taste: soft, lush, integrated wine with dark plum, currants, lots of milk chocolate, and a spiced cherry/tar medium finish. YUM! — 9 months ago
Very pretty color of ruby with medium intensity and a wide reddish rim.
Pretty nose with nice complexity.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate and complex.
Showing red and black fruits with wood, light licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco and herbs.
Nice finish with soft tannins and cherries.
This 6 year old Zinfandel based Red blend from Sonoma County is drinking at its peak, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.
Elegant and fruit forward. Nicely balanced and soft with a nice mouthfeel. Showing nice complexity at this point.

2018 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 15 mins and one hour. Beautifully feminine and expressive nose leapt out of the decanter. Medium body. Nice balance of dark fruits and tannins but slightly disjointed.
